About Lhohis

Lohis is smooth and consistent with a long playful wall that feels like it was made for style. The takeoff is easy to read even when it’s overhead and the wave invites you to draw lines not fight it. Low to high tide is magic with a clean south east swell and light west to northwest wind brushing it open. The wave hugs the reef and offers endless opportunities to carve stall or just flow. It’s one of the most mechanical lefts in the Maldives and it shows in how perfect it breaks.

Lohis is exclusive to surfers staying on the island. No outside boats. No day charters. Just resort guests and a limited number of them. That changes the crowd dynamic completely. You get your waves if you’re booked in. I’ve had mornings trading sets with just a handful of guys all smiling all stoked. Lohis isn’t wild or heavy. It’s clean pure and reliable. A wave you come back for.
