Sultans is power and perfection stitched together. A world-class right that starts soft on the takeoff and then throws open like a runway. First section stands up fast and if you hesitate you’ll get clipped. But make it through and the line just keeps drawing. When it’s solid the second section starts to bowl and you can tuck in deep or race it down the line. Mid tide works best. SE swell with a NW wind and it starts looking like something out of a surf film. Long rides. Real speed. Endless turns. I’ve had waves here that felt like they lasted forever.

But it’s no secret. Crowds show up early and stay till the wind kills it. Boats stacked in the channel. Everyone watching the sets roll through. Still I’ve scored sessions with just a few out when the timing was right. Sultans doesn’t hand out waves easy but when you earn one it’s all yours. Power without chaos. Always worth the paddle.
