Why I Built This Website

This site isn’t a product. It’s a process. A journey I’ve been on for over a decade.
Back when I first scribbled the name “Lucid Surf Dreams” on a scrap of paper, I wasn’t thinking about websites or bookings. I was just thinking about waves. About finding the kind of sessions that stay with you, the empty reef passes, the golden light, the moments you can’t really explain to someone who wasn’t there.
Over time, I started guiding surfers. At first it was casual. Friends of friends. Then people started seeking me out. Not because I had flashy gear or a logo, but because I understood these waves. Not from Google. From growing up with them. From paddling into them over and over until they made sense in my bones.
This site is the next part of that journey.
I built it to tell my story.
To guide the kind of surf trips I believe in real, grounded, honest.
To share what I’ve seen and what I’ve learned.
And most importantly, to protect the places that have given me everything.
You’ll find trip info here, yeah. But also stories. Reflections. Snapshots of island life. A journal of waves, people, and moments that matter to me.
This isn’t a surf brand.
It’s my voice, my path, and my way of giving back.
If you’re here because you love the ocean, or you’re chasing something more than just a wave count — you’re in the right place.
Welcome to my surf journal.
Let’s ride.
